Course Outline
This course introduces Encom QuickMag as a semiautomated technique for approximating the distribution of magnetic rocks beneath the surface from magnetic field data, and the constraints we can apply to achieve resulting depth values.
Participants will also look at the Resultant Magnetisation Estimation tool, designed for use as an aid with remanence mapping. The course is based on a series of exercises utilising both synthetic and real datasets.
