Course Outline

This course introduces students to the productivity tools in Engage. 

These tools have been designed to increase the efficiency of working with MapInfo Professional and cover a range of functions. 

Course Modules

• Working with map windows
• Queries and selection
• Data processing
• Object editing
• Scaled cartographic output
• Working with tables and workspaces

In addition to those tools the current release of Engage now includes MapShop, a module for automatically creating a map series or map book. The course will therefore cover the process of configuring and printing a map series using MapShop.

Who Should Attend?

The course has been specifically developed for GIS users in the Local Government sector who wish to improve the efficiency of their work using MapInfo Professional.  Prior experience with MapInfo Professional is required.
