Greg Van den Heuvel

President, Americas

Greg Van den Heuvel as President of Americas Pitney Bowes Software is responsible for the strategic direction and development of Pitney Bowes Software across the Americas region, with a strong focus on corporate growth and integration, building market share and delivering high quality solutions and services to customers. In this role, Greg is responsible for managing the US, Latin America and Canadian sales, service, and marketing teams who are focused within key customer industries, including Communications, Insurance, Financials Services and the Public Sector.  He is also responsible for the growth of new industry targets, including Healthcare, Retail and Manufacturing. 

Previous to this position, Greg was President, Global Strategy, Solutions & Strategic Marketing for Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), Greg had primary responsibility for three critical areas of PBMS’ business: Global Strategy, Global Solutions (including Global Product Management and Global Technology Development), and Global Strategic Marketing.

In his other positions with PBMS, Greg was President, Emerging Business Solutions for PBMS, where he led the development and sales of PBMS high growth and innovative solutions. Previously, he was President, Sales, Solutions and Marketing, responsible for driving the PBMS business strategy to transform the division into a document management solutions integrator. Greg served as President of North American Operations, where he was responsible for managing more than 1,200 sites and over $500 million in revenue for on-site PBMS operations. In 2005, Greg achieved increased profitability of 7.4% on flat revenue. Customer loyalty scores increased 5%, and employee engagement scores improved by 8%, making his the second highest-ranked business area within PBMS.

Greg joined PBMS in 1998 as Western Region Operations Vice President with responsibility for 350 sites and $250 million in revenue. In this position, he led the turnaround of the Western Region by significantly improving customer retention, quality service, and profitability. In 2003, Greg was appointed Vice President of Transformation reporting to the business unit president, and led major transformation initiatives for PBMS, spearheading projects such as back office billing automation, objective alignment and centralized RFP initiatives.

Prior to joining PBMS, Greg was with the Dictaphone Corporation for 13 years where he held various positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in the role of Western Region Vice President. In this role, he managed sales activities in 16 Western states, specializing in voice and data management systems for legal and healthcare markets. He joined the company’s Sacramento, CA sales organization in 1985.

Greg earned a BA Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis and attended the McGeorge School of Law.
