Diane Quick is Vice President Human Resources for Pitney Bowes Software, a powerful growth division of Pitney Bowes Inc. that brought together two former public software companies, Group 1 Software and MapInfo. Diane was an integral member of the team that brought MapInfo into the Pitney Bowes portfolio. She is also a part of the Program Management Office for Pitney Bowes’ Strategic Transformation program, leading the People Transition and Change Management teams. This program is a strategic initiative designed to create capacity for growth, provide more customer value and a better experience.
Diane has been a driving force for delivering innovative HR programs, leading organizational change and building solid partnerships with business leaders during her career at PBI. She assumed leadership of the HR function of PB Software in February 2008. During her tenure she has been instrumental in driving collaboration across HR Centers of Expertise to execute on the business unit strategies, and in fostering the cultural integration of the acquired businesses, acting as the executive coach and advisor to the Senior Leadership team, providing organization design and development plans, and integrating the HR Service delivery model to the business.
A true agent of change, Diane’s work on Pitney Bowes’ Strategic Transformation is her second key assignment on programs designed to significantly improve the organizational effectiveness of the company. Previously, as part of the Voyager Project, Diane led the Change Management team supporting a large-scale $150 million initiative to dramatically improve PBI’s back office. Over the course of the project 12 new systems utilized by over 7,500 employees were implemented. Training design, project governance, execution of an integrated communications program and all aspects of change management were part of her accountabilities in this role.
Diane is recognized for her ability as a true developer of talent within Pitney Bowes across all levels of the company. She has provided career development counseling, served as adjunct instructor to the larger internal training organization, coached executives on leadership style and team effectiveness, and has taken a keen interest in mentoring both early-in-career employees and Stamford-area students as part of Pitney Bowes’ hosted after school programs. Her ability to connect with people and give insightful feedback in a constructive and compassionate way has positively impacted those who have had the privilege of working with her at Pitney Bowes. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University and sits on the board of Stepping Stones Museum, specializing in creating an environment that inspires lifelong education for children 10 and under and supports parent, caregivers and educators in facilitating children’s explorations.
